and it all goes downhill from there... I was never a big fan on node.js. it's mainstream popularity seems due to its corporate governance. io has just been so much more agile and faster, that I really worry that we will see stagnation now if this all goes through

I remember when Atom first started to Fork and I left it. I could handle the clunkiness and performance. I find that with React and my vim editor, I'm happy coding again. If React could just borrow a few more ideas from Angular I think it would be on the right track to gain even more widespread momentum.

yes part of the reason I moved away from AWS years ago. Now it doesn't even matter since I am deploying to Docker anyways.

Good thing the host you run Docker on never needs to be patched or rebooted I guess?

Yes, docker is immune to vulnerabilities because containers.

If the kernel you are running on is vulnerable, it can be attacked and the attacker can circumvent any container isolation.

If the hypervisor (Xen!) running underneath your container-Linux is vulnerable, the attacker can get access to your virtualized OS and circumvent any container isolation.

your sarcasm detector may need recalibration.

What a bright, shiny future we live in where "Docker!" is the answer to all problems.

This is rubish. Bring back the glory days of Opera. Webkit has turned to trash and Chrome/Firefox along with it.

Like it will make a difference. what is to stop them from manipulating packets if there is no visibility into what they do with our packets. Let alone that the average consumer doesn't even understand the concept of throttling or why it is bad for them.
