Will you'll be hiring interns for this summer?

Are you looking for interns?

Very nice! Random suggestion, how about you turn the background color of the page to the avg color/most popular color people picked for the song when displaying the results.

That seems more likely to lead people (not sure which way though). For example if a song had a dark background (because of previous choices) then people might choose a contrasting background, etc..

It would be interesting to match up after a while with a similar project using "mood words" to create a map of mood to colour which could be broken down by region, by music preferences and such.

Also, here is a list of hacker news folks on G+. You can add the emails into Google Contacts and we'll all appear in find and invite or you can dd people one by one. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lQACCsE19tzBjRrfgmAcU25m...

Thanks. Yea I guess it makes sense to leave the form in so one can easily get recommendations for the next thing. I'll incorporate this in.

Thanks for the advice. I am planning on integrating youtube/itunes for the songs, movies, comedians as relevant.

Can you explain what you mean by the #how breaking at twitter\n username? Do you mean when you enter a newline in the username bar?

Wow thanks a lot for the feedback guys. Yes, it uses hunch. I could be wrong but hunch didn't have a way an unregistered user could just enter the twitter username and get the recommendations. Also, it was my first attempt at using apis and it was meant as a learning experience more than anything.

Google Docs with everyones email - http://bit.ly/ktOYnj

People needing invites add your name to the invite part, and I/someone else will send you an invite whenever.

Interesting. Great that theyv'e taken action. Not sure I would drop out of college for this though. However, currently using a blackboard like app, and having spoken to many friends using blackboard, it seems to be pretty crappy. If they can get a couple of schools like Penn to adopt CourseKit, its got some great potential.

A great idea. Will you be making your own lectures or linking to the lectures from MIT OCW, Stanford etc.
