Very nice! Random suggestion, how about you turn the background color of the page to the avg color/most popular color people picked for the song when displaying the results.
That seems more likely to lead people (not sure which way though). For example if a song had a dark background (because of previous choices) then people might choose a contrasting background, etc..
It would be interesting to match up after a while with a similar project using "mood words" to create a map of mood to colour which could be broken down by region, by music preferences and such.

Yes, it uses hunch. I could be wrong but hunch didn't have a way an unregistered user could just enter the twitter username and get the recommendations.
Also, it was my first attempt at using apis and it was meant as a learning experience more than anything.
Interesting. Great that theyv'e taken action. Not sure I would drop out of college for this though. However, currently using a blackboard like app, and having spoken to many friends using blackboard, it seems to be pretty crappy. If they can get a couple of schools like Penn to adopt CourseKit, its got some great potential.
