Those who dive can be penalized though. In the Europa League Final just yesterday a player on Roma got a yellow card for simulation trying to get a penalty call. Can the refs do better at catching these? Yes. But to say there's no recourse or it's not penalized is just wrong.

See my reply on the other comment, where I clarify the issue.

I only wish I could highlight ebooks

"We still don't know why."

That's the point though. Even if this fact is true it doesn't mean that drinking is healthy for these moderate drinkers. There could be other reasons that they're living longer and that drinking is actually working against them, not for them.

> Even if this fact is true it doesn't mean that drinking is healthy for these moderate drinkers

That's not the kind of inference we can derive from the data though.

The conclusion is that, even if we know that alcohol is not good for our health, moderate drinking has not been correlated to higher mortality or shorter life span, so we can conclude that, at the time of this writing, there are no evidence that show that moderate drinking is worse than not drinking for our health.

Regardless of the causes, the data simply doesn't show any correlation whatsoever with worsening health conditions, it shows, however, a correlation with a mildly longer average life span, which has not been explained, yet.

Because the vast swaths of suburbs around cities actively contribute to a lower quality of life for those who live in the city themselves. Not only do cities have to provide car infrastructure for those who commute into the city, which contributes to traffic, noise pollution, emissions, and particulates that fly into the air or run off into the rivers, but the cities also subsidize the cost the suburbs incur.

Embedded programming and my DSA skills in general. I recently graduated with a degree in EE (my second bachelors) but realized that my microprocessor courses weren't well taught and my programming skills aren't where they need to be to be employed doing these things quite yet, in my opinion. So for the time being I'll build up these skills while applying to jobs. Hopefully they improve enough to the point where I can find an entry level role in the field.

Breaking 3 hours is crushing it for a full marathon. The post you're replying to is talking about a half-marathon.

Yes, indeed. At a crucial place I missed the word "half"; corrected it. Sorry for the sloppiness, once again.

Zones refer to heart rate zones. You run at different intensities (in different zones) to achieve different things.

Zone 2 is your easy pace. The pace you do most of your running at. It's not so fast where you need much recovery but it's fast enough to achieve the adaptations you need.

Here's part of a talk by famed running coach Jack Daniels on the benefits of easy running: https://youtu.be/veAQ73OJdwY
