Yes, it is for me. (brazil)

Contact me @ t@art-is-t.me, you won't regret. I'm into the same stuff, let's talk? :D

Not so large.

Had a bunch of them that left in 1 month not doing anything :D

If you were starting over again, just out of college(or dropping out of it), what would you do?

For how long do you want to run ycombinator like it is(with you working somehow close to the startups instead of just hiring people to do it)?

Do you regret your "venture" in painting? If not, why?

NICE! I wish I had determinated co-founders like you guys.

The UI looks good :)

Thanks! We are making it up and figuring it out as we go along!

Don't waste time with design: use twitter bootstrap, jquery UI and stuff that let's you do it later.

Know the ins and out's of auth and stuff that most of web app does have.

Know what the hell you are building -- development/programming is impossible to master so you will spend most of your time googling shit and fixing errors, try to minimize the amount of time spent.

Know how to emacs/vim/any text editor that makes you productive.

Know how to deploy fucking fast.

Another rss reader, I'm so happy!

Please check out the Facebook/Twitter functionality :).

The idea is not to have another RSS reader, but to have a News Reader, that would fetch all news coming from as most sources as possible. RSS are just part of it.

windows

How does "windows" qualify as an open source application? Certainly not as Microsoft(R) Windows(TM) I suppose.

I suppose it depends on how you define 'open source', but Windows has released the source to those willing to sign an NDA and all that.

I know a few people with copies.

No matter how you define open source, windows isn't it. At the best, it's been called 'shared source' in the cases you mentioned, but that is a long way from open source.

I agree, I was just trying to give the OP the benefit of the doubt.

nice! now what's their business model?
