Couches are so 90's ... creative thinking needs beanbags.

Is he the new Joseph McCarthy ???. Instead of Slavic commies we now have to look for Asian commies behind every bush ???.

There was a time in San Francisco when everything was blamed on "Chinese steel" until we suddenly found out that Dyson Steel is from Ohio. Then there was deafening silence. Tribalism is a powerful drug.

I could never understand the love in the US for Ayn Rand type of social predations labeled as "right to work" (sic).

Her description of "right-to-work" had nothing to do with what the term actually means. It just means that employees can't be required to join a union as a condition of being employed at a company. What she's referring to is "at will employment" which is the norm in most US states.

I will just cancel my account.

I use a proxy service as the South Africa content library is piss poor , no use saying you are available in the country if you can only carry a small selection.

Naspers owns the satellite tv market here and they launched a streaming service months before Netflix arrived and signed up all the good stuff.

So I signed up for free trail in South Africa.

All of Netflix's own stuff is there but the rest of the catalogue is rather dire.

Looks like we are going to switch over the kids to Apple Music for Android when it is stable enough. Rdio was at least available in South Africa unlike Google Play Music and Spotify.

They are going to use VR to build the next Like button. I don't get Facebook .. they are buying everything these days that is not nailed down ... they are the Ebay of Web 3.0

I see that Netflix want's to introduce more tiers in their pricing ... a bloody good idea so then they can tell their Comcast based subscribers how much extra they need to pay each month for quality service.

Why must I as a non US based customer of theirs help fund the poor state of competition in the US broadband market ???.
