The built-in search software for a lot of forums is for lack of a better term, abysmal.

I doubt they own any part of their manufacturing at the moment.
Unless manufacturing already exists in the US (which I doubt here), I don't believe company this size has any chance to move manufacturing to the US

You don't think the omission of encryption and lack of authentication imply a criminal absence of due diligence.
I guess some huge contracts are in the offing fix those necessary features which should have been built-n in the first instance.
