I have been into the demoscene for the last 25 years and never heard of this website demoscene.info. It looks like the kind of website a domainer will make to "increase" the price of a low value domain name.

https://www.demoscene.info/miscellaneous/ the logo in the footer seems to show it's made by the same people who run Evoke

If you like it there is also slengpung in the same spirit (https://www.slengpung.com/). The website archives thousands of demoparties photos from 1989 to 2018)

Wow this has some great stuff, thanks for sharing!

We more or less have the same laws in France (and that's probably the case in other countries in EU)

Or you could have both. I find that gas offers quicker heat which is excellent for certain types of cooking. I find the responsiveness and heat control provided by gas are unmatched, that's why I use it most of the time

I found my induction stove to actually be more responsive than gas. The main issue with induction is the noise in my experience, but a more expensive stove might not have that problem.

I think I have some pretty low or medium range Ikea induction range. And I notice the sound only at most powerful modes. Otherwise it is reasonably quiet. Experience can vary with some pans.

When I was a teenager (17) all my friends in my class they could juggle three balls and I was a little jealous I wanted to be able to do like them. I remember buying three juggling balls and during recess I would train , sometime I would even skip class to train ! It took me about three weeks to be able to juggle with 3 balls! I am left handed so maybe it has something to do with that.

The animation on this site are great but they could be better if the balls were numbered (1,2,4)

If I am not mistaken nectarine have been doing it for year?

I don't know in the US but don't worry the demoscene is very much alive in Europe! Lots of big and smaller events all year long. I am personally going to Revision (where about a thousand people gather every Easter) and Evoke almost every year..the rest of the time there's often other demoparty you can watch live online

Thats good to hear. Demosplash is one of the largest demoparties in the US and I think attendance numbers were less than 30 people this year? (I don't have an exact number but thats what it felt like).

That tells you what the state of demoscene gatherings are in the US.

I am french I read your comment then read again the title to see what was wrong and I noticed my brain automatically added the word "entered" after accidentally. So yes I understand your feeling

i thought the missing verb was created and not entered?

I have been following the demoscene for a little more than 20 years now. Wrote only a couple demos. Last one was last year for Revision 2023. I am actually so glad to be European (living in France) because it seems it is almost inexistant outside Europe.

Vive la france, shoutout to TiTAN :) And yes. Demoscene specifically only has tiny pockets in the US.

http://docs.dotbigbang.com/ gives 403 ERROR The request could not be satisfied.

That's super weird! It's working for me here on wifi and on my cell connection on my phone. Could you try another connection?

Same here, from the Netherlands.

Small print on the error page says:

   Request ID: nu9PuEmZJeaWA8op7PaSfAal0M3IfCzp9mnd04PlxRiSWErx1M4qOw

Thanks for reporting, we're working on it!

Same here. From germany, if that makes any difference.

Thanks for reporting, we'll look into it!

It didn’t matter for me but maybe try https rather than http. On iOS Safari it redirected me to the https url and loaded.

We have a fix for this that will be rolling out soon, thanks!
