I don't have a problem with GMOs (I'm really into genetics personally, I did natural computation during my MS thesis). And the lawsuits against farmers seem reasonable given their seed contracts, more reasonable than software patents or EULAs to me. But I know some people disagree about that.

A friend of my father used to be a researcher at Monsanto, so he explained a lot of the basics behind what they're doing to me. Absolutely amazing tech to be frank.

So yeah, I personally don't have a problem with GMOs either, but as you mentioned, some people might.
