Most startups go out of business. Raising $ doesn't guarantee success.


I'm not even talking about success - I'm talking about investors looking out for their own money and getting a deal done for a buyout. I wouldn't even really call it a soft landing.


These investments are intentionally high-risk, though. Most of them go south, including most of those made by famous firms.
