Some of the article was okay (although you can cherry-pick a lot to achieve a conclusion) but Langer's study in particular seemed very dubious. They "looked younger"? Stop - that's just way too objective for me!

What part of this kind of process:

they showed before and after pictures of them to third parties who didn't know them --nor did they know the order the pictures were taken-- and the majority identified the latter as younger looking

seems "too objective"?


Seems an odd takeaway after "memory, vision, hearing, and even physical strength had improved"


Considering the subject of the article, that's kind of an interesting most noteworthy (to you) takeaway.
