The scan rate and accuracy may not be the best, but the fact that they are using a linear photodiode array impresses me. The fact they were able to do all this for $35 is even more impressive, and I await the day I can purchase this from chinese electronics hobbyist websites.
Me too! I've been looking for something like this, but wasn't been able to find anything. Very nice to see this here, perhaps I'll build one if I have time at some point, or order one if it becomes available.
