That doesn't matter. The point is that you're not listing the name of the actual company and you are not an employee of the company. You are a recruiter. Every recruiter would like to say "we work directly with the company as an extension for their hiring processes" - what would be the point of the rule then?
The spirit of HN hiring threads is not to be yet another portal where recruiters can show their wares. It's designed to be community-oriented and transparent. Ideally a hiring manager or an employee directly on the team who a candidate would be working with is the one posting the job. Second to that, an internal recruiter who works directly in the talent or HR team of the hiring company. I'm sure you're plenty well integrated with the hiring process at "Machine learning hedge fund", but you're still an external recruiter who is not formally employed by the company on a permanent basis.
You shouldn't be posting here. We can't even tell the name of the company from your job ad. It's convenient for you but it's not convenient for the rest of the community.
