I also wouldn't advise applying for a post by asking if you are qualified, it's better to send a message explaining why you think you are qualified. When I get messages asking if someone is qualified I immediately ignore them because either they aren't going to be qualified or they haven't even done the research to figure it out themselves which is a big red flag.
