I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person who gets annoyed by the many iPhone animations. I want the desired change to occur instantly, so I feel that a few hundred ms of my time is wasted whenever I see a rotate animation, app start/close animation, etc. And unlike on say Android, there doesn't seem to be a way to disable them.
