I handled a modern iPod Touch recently. What a wonderful form factor - small, light, but feels durable and well-built. I'd love to get that but with a cellular modem and OLED screen. The rest of the modern Apple features (telephoto lens, Face ID, force touch, 3D touch, etc.) I can live without. Wireless charging is very nice, but not worth making the phone bigger, more brittle (glass back), and more expensive.
