Tesla took the customer's money and sold the car. It's theirs now. Tesla has no moral right to track a car that's not theirs and use the information for anything except to help the customer maintain their car.

Uh, no. It's literally Tesla's car. We are talking about vehicles they lend to the media to review not vehicles customers buy.
