How Badly Is Google Books Search Broken, and Why?
I understood that there is an exemption in US law just for libraries (
https://copycense.com/2012/03/05/section-108-fair-use-are-no...
), but it wasn’t clear whether Google was covered when acting as an agent for the libraries.
But it seems to be the reason to require the rigamarole with library cards.
