well if you know postgres, you will know that at first there was pgadmin3, which was really fast and a really good/decent application.
however somebody tought it is a good idea to redo everything and build some kind of new application, which is a client/server application and the client is actually a javascript application which is hosted in a desktop application or directly in the browser.
However the desktop application is just garbage.
