Why would I not be? I see it as a feature that I would like to exist. And yes, they to have many features, but atm. I don't use them to the extend that I must switch at this second.

For future school project, I do see myself using GitLab. As you yourself said, they have many good features. (After been forced to used Bitbucket for a school project, I'm happy to use anything else.)
