This made me immediately skeptical of the article. S3 is the best option for static hosting 99.99% of the time.



I'm just not sure how you can sleep at night knowing aws can throw a $3000 bill at you any time essentially.


You can just setup a budget and shutdown traffic if it goes above it.


That's true. What is the point of overpriced aws though if you don't want it to scale uncontrollably?
