Outside the software development bubble, Microsoft Teams is starting to dominate in the way that Exchange did in the 00s. It's a huge advantage that it's free with Office 365. Basically, if your company is already a Microsoft shop, there's no reason to go out and get another enterprise collaboration tool. Teams has default integrations with the whole Microsoft stack, including Azure DevOps and MS Project.
Most of the companies I work with still use Slack for development teams, but even then the devs are usually running both Slack and Teams because the business stakeholders they need to communicate don't use Slack. Slack is already being replaced in a lot of orgs as a result.
