Pascal of that time, was informative of Modula, but Modula was more informing of ADA because it was still a candidate language model going forward before Ichbiah's pick won out. There there are all the offsprings from UCSD Pascal and Object Pascal, and same applies to Modula, with Modula-2+ and Modula-3.
