Since space is quantized, this would mean that the infinite nature of Pi is non-physical. A mathematical realist could argue that this makes irrational numbers like Pi a mathematical curiosity that lacks objective reality and that at most a few hundred digits of Pi are "real." (Guesstimating what would be required to circle the universe with a precision down to the Planck length.)

Is there a counterargument to this? Is there a case where the infinite irrational nature of Pi would be physically realized?
