Bad companies are bad at hiring, good companies tend to be good at it. In most cases as efficient as they can be if you understand their constraints.


Lots of "good companies" have terrible hiring processes, in part because they're sufficiently famous and prestigious that they can be really bad at hiring - like proudly advertising a 2 month long process - and still hire enough qualified software engineers. I don't think it's correlated.
