Nobody is “faulting” Apple. They tend to avoid saying things for weird PR reasons.

In this case, they make impressive sounding, but almost completely meaningless assertions about performance. If anything, they are underselling an impressive achievement.

Intel does provide performance ranges in thermally constrained packages that are meaningful.
