Having said all that...

I don't think a trading platform allowing you to buy / sell stocks should be able to arbitrary decide when you can buy and sell without some reasonable reason that applies to everyone.

And "applies to everyone" should mean "applies to the entire market for GME". If you halt trading, you halt it for everyone.

Agreed, outside of account specific issues (account hacked concernens, etc).
