How do you think about SST compared to projects like arc.codes/Begin.com in the long run? Do you want to expand to do a lot more around serverless? I always think about Rails vs Sinatra, and how both can make you happy :) The demo gave me Sinatra vibes in that sense (minimal code, no boilerplate generators, it just works)


That's a really interesting comparison. The part of SST that I didn't get a chance to touch on in the post is the higher level constructs. These give you more of that framework type feel.

Currently we do APIs, queues, cron jobs, and pub/sub. We won't force people to use these but we'll be adding support for more serverless use cases as we go along.
