I hang out with my kids when I can step out of the office.
I recently started exercising over lunch (this habit was never easy for me- it took getting Ring Fit Adventure on Nintendo Switch to start that).
I saved 15000 miles on my car’s odometer.

Teenage Engineering’s Pocket Operators. So much fun.
I have dogs. I do stand-ups. I never thought of combining these. It makes so much sense because I can think better when walking. This is so simple yet brilliant!! Thanks for this.
How do you do a standup while walking? I can understand audio through earphones, but don't you need to see like a JIRA board and are you able to do that on your phone?
The board gets screen shared. So I could do look on my phone if I wanted. But I don’t find it necessary.
I have the inverse question. How would you not be able to do standup while walking (given that you’re able-bodied)? Are you not prepared to say what you did yesterday and what you plan to do today? Or do you do a bunch of other tasks in your standup? Does the whole meeting take more than 10-15 minutes?
I take a look at the board in the morning and make sure it’s up to date, so I can speak to where all my items are at. Since I’m the dev lead on the team, I’m also aware of who’s working on which projects, so I can provide feedback/answer questions on their stuff, if it makes sense in the context of the meeting.
