FDA approved the first BCI a few weeks ago from Neurolutions. Other companies like Synchron are going to beat Neuralink to market as well.

I can't comment on who'll come to market first, but invasive BCI (like what's posted), is much harder to justify than non-invasive solutions to the FDA. We have a long way to go before any such solutions will be available for the general public.
