I recently bought an Onyx Boox Max Lumi 13.3" eInk device with HDMI-in port to use as a monitor for my laptop when working on the terrace in broad daylight.
So far I've only used it for two hours (the weather here in Europe is terrible), but it seemed to work OK. These eInk displays have gotten a lot faster in recent years!
This 25.3" monitor would be even better but of course it's even pricier at $2k. Also, it's not very portable. They should make these things splash water resistant!
Why can't we have decent laptops with displays that can be used ergonomically in bright sunlight?
