This scramjet is not particularly large. A 747 on the other hand, while traveling 20-40x slower, could fit petabytes of data.

Given that, I'd bet a decent-sized freight train, or tanker, would be able to vastly out-do a 747. With worse ping time, but for sheer bandwidth...
