Hi, wondering about Affiliate marketing -- paying out kickbacks to successful referrals.

Have seen a few big platforms like "ShareASale" and "cj.com"

I'm wondering if there are platforms the HN crowd would recommend, or if it would be better to "roll your own" affiliate marketing / tracking (seems like Cookies are important) and try to reach out to influencers and youtubers one-on-one.
