This is a direct link to a product, but I'm hoping this produces more of a generalized discussion about the industry and why motherboards are being made for mining in the age of semiconductor shortages.

There is a market for them so products get made. Every industry using semiconductors is affected, so nowadays pretty much all industries are affected. Some other guy will be against gaming because he thinks it's a net negative on society, so he thinks there shouldn't be any motherboards for consoles either. And we can come up with other arbitrary examples. Can you explain your reasoning?
