lol. It doesn't seem wise to click that link. Here's one not hosted on a site that's been hacked:

https://twitter.com/wikidot/status/1527328951625867284

"Wikidot has been hit by hackers and all traces lead to Russian Federation. The data seem intact, but hackers left quite a mess. We need to scan literally everything to make sure Wikidot is secure before re-enabling it... It will take a while... Will keep you posted!"

What's the potential risk? Fingerprinting me behind the scenes?

Could return online with a log in flow that gathers credentials, maybe steal your cookies, etc.

And all else being equal, I'd wager that you're more likely to be hit with a browser exploit visiting a hacked site than a non-hacked one.

won't really hurt me that much due to the fact im on a school chromebook

I hope they don't have catastrophic data loss. I quite enjoy reading the SCP Foundation stories, and I suspect that they're probably one of the biggest sites on Wikidot.

Now that I think about it, I recall there being conflict between between the SCP Foundation's community and a Russian businessman who tried to copyright SCP in Russia.

At first I thought this was an elaborate SCP story taking over Wikidot.

i hope the backrooms wikidot stays ok

i love the foundation and hope they do not lose anything
