It’s pretty irrelevant. I doesn’t hurt, but none of my top 5-10 hires over the last decade or so have had one. Anecdotal of course.

If you don’t mind me asking, is your team mainly software based? I work in hardware in tech and I haven’t had a single teammate without a degree
