I have use openstax textbook a lot, pretty good collection of books

Though they are usually worthless, I always look at these collections of language learning resources. This is a good one!

Most of the good resources I already know of, but I found from this list a slowly-spoken German news podcast for learning German. There are some other nice links in here for other languages that I take an interest in. I'm now listening to the US Foreign Service Institute's Greek pronunciation recordings.

How’s the quality? I don’t think I’ve ever listened to the Greek recordings but the languages I have listened to sounded like they were recorded on an old answering machine.

Yes, these recordings sound like they were recorded on an old answering machine. That said, the enunciation is immaculate and the tempo is just slow enough to make out the individual sounds, yet fast enough to not sound forced. I'm certain that a skilled technician could remaster them.

And truth be told, I do prefer my audio samples to be in nonsterile environments, for the simple reason that we'll not be in such an environment when encountering real native speakers.

Also many of the links I spot checked were dead or broken. I may just have unpopular interests tho
