The point of this aggressive sanction was that Tornado Cash WAS an easy way to anonymize crypto.


To get around the fact that anybody could track your every transaction on ETH, rather than just your bank or CC company and the IRS.

Getting cash out of your bank account is also an easy way to anonymize.
