Ethereum – Take full control. Run your own node (ethereum.org)

The bandwidth requirements for running an Ethereum node will not work for many home internet connection types. For Comcast, at least, with a 1.2TB/mo limit, the node will run you afoul of The Man within a week or two.

It would make much more sense if a tiny trickle of Eth were dolled out to the validators... they are just as necessary as the miners/stakers/etc. Take some fixed percent of the mining reward, divide evenly among all validators. Done... I mean in principle if the function is necessary, it should be incentivised.

Do you mean nodes? Validators already get rewards (and miners don’t exist anymore)

I did mean the full nodes they are promoting the benefits of running on the linked posts. Must have gotten words mixed up when thinking about validate rewards and not noticed.

Become fully sovereign while helping secure the network. Become Ethereum.
