I think it will be interesting to see if Cloudflare starts to iterate through the magic quadrants for Zero Trust solutions and eventually lands in the Leaders quadrant [...].

There's no "if".

A happy customer here.

CloudFlare feels what the big clouds wanted to become.

Keep it up and keep it simple, John!

Cloudflare gets it. I've spent time at Palo, Fortinet, and Zscaler and they're not driven towards the same end goal. The products are, and have been, frustrating for a number of reasons and while their customers can solve targeted problems ultimately none of these vendors have truly baked a formalized / unified, dare I say "platform" that Cloudflare has. I've recommended Clouflare many times since the early days and I'm constantly impressed by their engineering focus. Not everything is perfect, but I'd say they have a better finger on the pulse. They definitely have issues to address on the GTM strategy when working with large enterprise, but they'll figure that out in time. The products do a great job of representing themselves and I love the fact that a majority of their offerings aren't behind lock and key and/or a sales team.

Glad it’s working well for you. Let us know about rough edges or missing features.

We've been working on setting up Cloudflare Zero Trust for a team of ~100. We are moving away from a traditional OpenVPN + IP Allow Listing.

I'd say the biggest pain point is that there is no way to route traffic over a tunnel at the hostname level without having Cloudflare MITM the traffic.

Pretty excited about some of the stuff that shipped in GA week and what I’ve seen of Birthday week so far (Account WAF and worker queues in particular), but it’d be even cooler if Cloudflare could ship Logpush for Worker’s Trace Events (announced May 5 2022) and the worker service environments, which were “temporarily disabled” in early May as well. Not having those is really hindering our adoption of Workers more broadly, which is a bummer.

Howdy! I just so happened to be working on the logpush system earlier this week: if you wouldn't mind hopping on the discord [0], our PM tanushree#3489 may be able to arrange something for y'all.

Some people still think Cloudflare is just a CDN.
