yeah my earlier mentions friend is also perplexed and puts it down to "people just not understanding how economics works". I'm inclined to agree... before trump I was beginning to see a picture of the world as being a lot less organized and professional than I was being led to believe.. Post Trump and I'm convinced that the world is and has always been an unhinged crazy town. I believe even less in conspiracy theory's than I used to (and I've always been a Occam's Razor sort of guy).

There is no truly organized world order with a great plan... (to borrow from the meme) we're all just a bunch of smooth brains trying to fool each other that we're part of the wrinkled brain elites.

Gold seems like a historically safe bet. thats as close to a plan as I'm going to get, otherwise yeah head down and keep on carrying on.
