There is a list of components in the sidebar on the left. If you click those, you will see those components instead of the alerts.

That doesn't answer any of the questions. What am I supposed to be admiring, thinking about, using this for? Is this a tool I should adopt or test? Is this a new UI pattern to think about? There's no obvious context.


What you're talking about is advertising and advocacy. I personally don't mind less of that.


As a FE developer I appreciate the updates from HN when a bigger company releases something as OSS. It's nice to know what approaches others are taking to solve similar problems.


People share things they find interesting on HN. Should there be a reason?
