How could he be a good thing for it, when he's been completely unserious about it from the beginning? Nobody knows his plans for twitter not because he's kept them secret, but because he doesn't have any. This is a pure vanity project for him, and completely out of his area of expertise.

And as a twitterer, he's been an active part of the low-information cesspool.
