I'm surprised Ambrosia scored so poorly. Ambrosia was a taste explosion and remains a fond memory even now years later. Perhaps it has a narrow optimal for eating period.

The fact that it is 55 and the mealier, less tart, less sweet Gala apples are 70 tells me we have very different tastes.
It is closer to a Honeycrisp, which they have as 91 and I grab when Ambrosias are unavailable.
