What Germany had was low cost energy to power a mighty manufacturing industry; now that is gone. Commence the slow decline.


I don't see any relative change between Germany and Eastern Europe that would cut down on its brain drains (or economic migration cycles.) I think countries comparable to Japan have much less migration possibility for whatever combination of reasons.


Are you telling us that BMW's decline will follow that of Toyota?
