Some common ratios since I spent a few minutes figuring these out:

* 3.0 - Dotted 8th note + 16th note played as it should. Many classical musicians don't play this pattern "sharply" enough IMO.

* 2.0 - Triplets (quarter note + 8th note inside a triplet).

* 1.5 - Beat subdivided by 5 with the first note taking 3 counts and the second note taking 2 (dotted eighth + eighth note in a 5:2 polyrhythm). Not uncommon in swing and fast jazz music.
