I can understand if it was a small subset of companies that made it difficult for the user. I can show multiple government websites where the UX is broken. There is no profit motive there. 800000 downloads out of 2.65 billion Chrome users. So 99.96% doesn't use it. Some of the 800k are likely also redownloads.
