I think the article has a conclusion it's trying to push to __stop using Go__. Maybe I misread it, but that's what it sounds like. Honestly though, I am fine with Go. Every language has its ups and downs. What I like about Go is specifically what the article pointed out, the simplicity means I need to only remember a few concepts. In contrast, with Rust, or C, or C++, or Java, or C# I have to know _so many small details_ to not shoot myself in the foot.

Java arguably has even less foot guns then Go and is an simpler language.
