It'll be really interesting to see how other "not Chrome"s handle this. And I don't mean "not Chromium based" as there could be patches as basic as raising the hardcoded limit to more complicated patch sets that would maintain blocking support similar to what Firefox is doing for itself.
My biggest worry is browsers like Brave and Vivaldi will be too proud of their integrated ad blockers which, like Manifest v3 based blockers, are definitely nice but nowhere near as good as best in breed like uBlock Origin.
