Commentary on the tech eco-system might be the only retreat Stack Overflow has with the advent of generative AI. Hope they can see the pivot. Oh, and bring back the jobs business, that was pretty good


Hard disagree. Answers to real life problems from real human beings will be much more valuable in the age of generative “ai”. No hallucinations, no dubious sources, no bullshit. Just humans helping other humans.

I am looking forward to the year where “no auto generated content” becomes a great selling point of a platform. I really hope that the current trend of using generative models everywhere will die off and the models will be seen as niche toys at best - like no-code programming. No-drawing digital pics and no-writing essays belong in the same box IMO.
