I do hope, just like the OP, the AI will show us that "trying to be more clever than others" is a stupid game, and our lives are better off if we don't depend on playing it.

There is no benefit in one-upping other people in tic-tac-toe.

There is a massive benefit in one upping other people in life.

That's why wise societies create laws and other social contracts that prevent this one upping.

You clearly have a hatred for clever people if you can see all the world's problems caused by that. Like whose cleverness made cancer exist? Or aging exist?
